We had a completely blank wall. After having a gas fireplace installed, Dave put stone around it going all the way up to the ceiling. He built up a hearth, and installed a mantle. He then mounted the TV for us above the fireplace. He takes a great deal of pride in his work making sure everything is perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend!

I recently hired DeNero Masonry and Chimney to rebuild my chimney from the roofline up, and I wanted to put a good word out. The workmanship was top-notch, clearly done with pride and skill. Dave is not only a true master of his trade but someone you can trust. He went the extra mile to ensure everything in the rebuild went smoothly, despite the highly unpredictable weather this October. He even helped take a look at my actual fireplace to help me make it functional, which was not part of the job. It's rare to find someone so passionate and meticulous about their craft, but DeNero Masonry and Chimney definitely exceeded my expectations and put my worries about the house at ease. Also, despite his booked out schedule, he made sure to come through for my rapidly deteriorating chimney before the weather made it impossible. True craftsmen are rare these days and I am grateful!

What started out to be 'trim' around a new fireplace insert ended up being new stonework from floor to cathedral ceiling and we are still in awe of the end result! We asked Dave to replace our deteriorated front steps and repoint some brickwork around our house and we were very impressed with how prompt and communicative he was from day one. Work was started and completed ahead of schedule and within our budget, and when we encountered an unforeseen problem due to the condition of the brick behind the old steps/planters Dave was able to immediately offer a great looking solution. We are very happy with the work and plan on hiring Denero Masonry again in the future.
